The Incan cutler.

The Incas were a very advanced civilization for their time and cutler. They had very strong beliefs, and had their heads on strait… Or until they broke a law that is. They had very cruel and unusual punishments. One that I find to be interesting. They had very strange ways of creating a village. One of the emperors sent forth four sons and four daughters to mate and create his village, and the outcome had led to great emperors to come.

1) Who were the 1st Americans?  How did they get the Americas? Nomadic Asian Hunters.

2) Discuss the following civilizations: Incas, Aztecs, Cahokia. Aztecs are an ancient mexican civilization. Incas were an ancient peru civilization. And the cahokia were a central american civilization. 

3) What were the three sisters? Corn, Squash, .

4) Indirect discoverers of America: a) How do the crusades lead to the discovery of America? 
b) How did Marco Polo encourage exploration?  c) Why is Africa important? 
They were christian knits. 
He wrote a book about it.
They had to go around it.

5) What was Columbus looking for when he ran into the Americas?  Where did he initial land?

6) What was the Columbian Exchange? 

7) European diseases wiped out what percent of Native Americans?  Why is this important? 90% A lot of history has been lost.

a) Vasco Nunez Balboa: Discovered pacific ocean.
b) Ferdinand Magellan: First ship to circle the world.
c) Hernan Cortes: conquered aztecs.
d) Juan Ponce de Leon: Found florida.
e) Francisco Coronado:Famous explorer.
f) Hernado de Soto: buried in Mississippi river.
g) Francisco Pizarro: Conquered incas.

9) What is the "Black Legend"? The belief that only utopians had.

Some things I thought were important were 
-How they listed all of the diseases that came from the old world. 
-Another thing is how the Indians gave them syphilis. I thought that was just funny.
-I like how it describes how the trade system became to be. If Columbus never discovered America he never would have gotten the chance to get spices or soaps. 
-I really like the fact that people died. Now there aren’t as many people clogging the planet. That was my favorite part.
-Oh, and the food........ delicious and scrumptious food. yum.
I think these facts are very important for personal reasons and just for (fact) reasons. But I'm not going to lie, this is all Chinese to me...
