My response to Howard Zinn.

I really enjoyed reading this book; at first. I learned things I never thought possible. I knew Columbus was a bad man to begin with, and that religion is the biggest overall problem in history and in the conflict of the story; But I didn’t know the number of deaths was so incredibly high. I would like to get the chance to thank Howard Zinn for the knowledge I have gained; I could also say that there are some things I wasn’t happy reading about. I felt as if he went off topic a little, bringing his own personal feelings into the story. I don’t like to read about an old mans issues, I get enough of that at home alone. I think that he tries to import his problems as a way to vent. It would have been easier to read this book if it was filled with more fact, rather than opinion. I mean no offence to anyone who likes to read Zinn; but if you like his work you should be able to handle a little opinion.
